This November, we're turning Manatee Hammock into the ultimate Friendsgiving gathering! Think ridiculously good food, themed drinks that actually slap, and the kind of soul-recharging hang that only happens when you put good people near the water. Whether you're a nurse, a teacher, work in an office, or are a professional couch philosopher — if The News Junkie is part of your mid-day routine, you already belong here. Finally put faces to the usernames, break bread (and possibly steal the last dinner roll from) your people, and soak up that gorgeous Florida coast air. Come for the day or stay for the whole weekend — we support both life choices. Just show up hungry and bring your good vibes!

The campground sits directly on Florida’s Indian River and offers shoreline fishing and a place to launch kayaks and paddleboards for hours of Florida fun in the sun! Make sure to remember your sunscreen!

The campground has a small swimming pool and recreation room for those who want to stay cool and have some aquatic fun but would rather stay off the river.

We may play poker, there might be board games, you never can tell what we might get up to… But there will be music from our live DJ, dancing, and a photo booth for goofing around. And the campground offers shuffleboard, pickleball courts, and a horseshoe pit.
But there’s nothing wrong with just wanting to sit and socialize too!
